It looks like it just might be Leonardo DiCaprio's big year! The actor was on hand to congratulate his The Revenant director Alejandro Inarritu who took home the win. It's not the first time the Mexico-born director won—in fact, he just took home the prize last year for Birdman. Nevertheless, Inarritu was teary-eyed when he accepted the coveted award.

But don't count out Rachel McAdams and her Spotlight crew just yet. The actress may not have been part of the winning team last night, but the newspaper movie is still very much considered in the running for the Oscars race after taking the Screen Actors Guild award for best ensemble.

And in other races, Jennifer Jason Leigh with her turn as a feral prisoner in The Hateful Eight was also on hand. (She's nominated for her first Oscar in the best supporting actress category.) The LA-based actress looked far from her wild role: her black frock was downright demure.
