If the movie Coco didn’t already have you in tears, this viral video will. After seeing the new animated film, a 4-year-old boy was inspired to sign the song “Remember Me” to his late sister on what would have been her first birthday.

Stephanie and Samir Deais from San Antonio filmed their 4-year-old son Alexander singing to a photograph of his little sister Ava Lynn, who passed away last May. “Remember me, though I have to travel far, remember me,” he sang while strumming his white guitar.

“He’s only 4 years old and he understands. He didn’t even know he was being recorded. He just wanted to sign to her for her 1st birthday!” dad wrote on Twitter alongside the footage. The video already has over 1.3 million views.

“My wife and [I] were literally brought to tears seeing how much love Alex and Ava and our family has received. We were FLOORED last night!!” Samir later wrote after seeing how the video had gone viral.

We’re sending all our love to this beautiful family.
