The stars donned washes of purple, shades of white, and even some prints, but perhaps all the bright colors together made the biggest statement of all.
Sofia Vergara (above, right) stunned—as per usual—in a structural red-hot column with a sheer bodice by Donna Karan Atelier. For yellow, Uzo Aduba (above, center) worked the carpet in an ornate open-work column by Angel Sanchez. Meanwhile, Julianne Margulies (above, right) wowed in a cobalt blue Giambattista Valli haute couture gown with an up-to-there slit and modest neckline.
Julianne Moore (above, left) and Claire Danes (above, right) brought green hues to the carpet. Moore wore an elaborately beaded Givenchy haute couture gown (a designer she's worn now for the second time this awards season!) while Claire Danes slipped into a cutout forest green Marc Jacobs number. And because red never fails, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting (above, center) wowed in a belted strapless column by Romona Keveza doused in the go-to shade.
This red carpet was as exciting as ever thanks to the burst of rainbow colors. Now, we're that much more excited to see what the Oscars have in store for us!
