Gathering your gals to enjoy a round (or two) of well-deserved drinks? Instead of reaching for the Pinot Grigio, consider whipping up the smoky “No Sé” cocktail from newly opened D.C.-based bar Quarter + Glory, which is a modern take on the classic American watering holes of past generations. “The inspiration behind the No Sé is the first mezcal bar in Guatemala of the same name—a bar full of artists, poets, musicians and raconteurs,” explains Kenneth McCoy, Quarter + Glory’s chief creative officer. Try the recipe for yourself—it only requires four simple ingredients, making it the ideal drink after a long week.
1. Combine equal parts mezcal, Campari, and vermouth into a mixing glass. Add ice and stir.
2. Strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with orange zest.
