KaDee Strickland, who stars as Dr. Charlotte King on Private Practice (which premieres tonight at 10 p.m. EST on ABC), was so moved by her character's sexual assault storyline in season 2 that she took on the cause as her own. In collaboration with jewelry brand Gorjana, the actress designed a necklace for the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network—and this week only, 100% of the profits from its sale will go toward programs for RAINN, the largest anti-sexual violence organization in the country. Strickland first started working with the charity while researching her role for the show. "RAINN is a remarkable organization," Strickland told InStyle.com. "I had some pretty specific research to do because [sexual assault] is such an unspoken thing and a relatable subject matter. The more I worked with these people, the more these experiences laid on my heart. The thing that blew my mind is that I got stopped all the time, in airports, in the supermarket, someone would walk up to me and say 'thank you'–and that was it." You can buy the 18k gold necklace here for just $70! We can't wait to pick one up in support of this amazing cause.
