Kate Middleton fans, take note! There's another fashionable royal making waves with her royal style.

Princess Charlene of Monaco was a vision in lilac while accompanying her husband Prince Albert to the 68th annual Red Cross Gala Saturday evening in Monte Carlo, where the regal couple were guests of honor.

The prince, who looked handsome in a white tuxedo jacket and black bow tie, had previously told People that he didn't know what his wife was planning to wear to the special event, saying, "She sometimes asks for my opinion but never for something like this. She likes to surprise me." And what a surprise it was.

The 38-year-old beauty stunned in a shimmery floor-length number featuring a lilac and purple marble design and a plunging neckline with embellished shoulders at the charity event.

The mom-of-two and former Olympic swimmer took her glamorous ensemble from elegant to royal with huge diamond earrings, a simple diamond pendant, and a silver beaded clutch, and pushed her wavy blonde locks back into an chic coiffeur for the occasion.
