Royals, they’re just like us. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a gala dinner Wednesday night and wowed us with their impeccable fashion—and their undeniable charm. While Prince William and Kate Middleton generally shy away from PDA, they didn’t hold back from making fun of each other at the event, which took place at Houghton Hall in King's Lynn, England.
Speaking with the five Michelin-starred chefs in attendance, the duchess joked that the night out was a welcome break from her cooking. “William has to put up with my cooking most of the time,” she said, according to People.
Her husband's reply? “It’s the reason I’m so skinny,” William quipped.
The evening certainly had its share of fine dining for the Duke of Cambridge to enjoy. The dinner, held in support of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, featured a locally sourced feast from the world’s top chefs. Among the menu items: scallop ceviche, wild sea bass, loin of Houghton venison, and berry coulis.
We love getting to see the playful side of this charming royal couple.
