Prince Harry is headed Down Under. Amidst the #GreatKateWait, the younger brother to Prince William has announced that he will go on a tour of New Zealand following his stay in Australia, where he is currently visiting. The news was announced on the Prince's official website, which said that he would embark on the tour from May 9 through May 16 at the invitation of the New Zealand government.
"In his first visit to the country, The Prince will be introduced to a broad cross section of New Zealand culture and society. He will take the opportunity to meet members of the local community in each place he visits—from the national parks of Stewart Island to the urban centres of South Auckland and Wellington—highlighting the diversity of New Zealand and celebrating those who give service to the wellbeing of the country," the announcement says.
Prince Harry returned to Australia on Monday, where he is serving a month-long attachment with the Australian Defense Force. His visit to New Zealand follows Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George's memorable visit to the country last year.
