Sweden’s royal family has a lot to celebrate these days. In addition to being young, beautiful, and literal royalty,  Prince Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland, and Princess Sofia, Duchess of Värmland, have have spent the last four-and-a-half months caring for their own little Prince, Alexander, Duke of Södermanland.

In Stockholm on Friday, the littlest royal encountered his first dose of spotlight when he (and the bulk of Swedish royalty) attended his christening ceremony.

It was a joyous occasion for the new parents, who married in June of 2015. The Duke and Duchess were positively glowing throughout the ceremony held at Drottningholm Palace.

Though Princess Sophia’s ensemble was mostly overshadowed by the adorable baby in her arms, the duchess stunned in a conservative white gown with a delicate lace overlay, paired with a set of crème-colored ankle-strap pumps. The lady of Sweden wore her hair in a low bun, accented by a pearl-encrusted headband and a pair of small crescent-shaped earrings.

Prince Carl Philip looked dashing beside his wife and son, donning a traditional Navy uniform.

The little Prince himself wore a lacy sheath for the ceremony, matching with his stylish mom.
