Brace yourselves Pretty Little Liars fans—the end is near.

After six tumultuous years filled with more drama, death, and deception than we can handle, the hit TV series is going out after the end of its 7th season with a bang. Following the mid-season summer finale that airs Tuesday night, the show will return in April 2017 with ten final episodes and a two-hour series finale event.

"It’s been an honor to work with such a talented cast and crew over the last seven years," showrunner Marlene King said in a statement. "We are a family, and it will be hard to say goodbye to a show that has made such an impact on young audiences and been a mouthpiece for cultural change. I’m excited for fans to finally have all of their questions answered, and I believe they will be satisfied with the wild ride that is our last ten episodes."

King was joined by show's stars Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Troian Bellisario, and Sasha Pieterse on the Pretty Little Liars Facebook page today where they announced the news in a live video (below).

Several of them later took to social media to share the reveal with their fans.
