If us petites haven’t had it hard as it is here is another challenge to add to the list … the one piece and those wretched shrunken proportions. I have found rompers where the waist seam falls lies around my butt and the leg seam ends up falling at my knees, or a pair of overalls where I couldn’t tighten the straps enough to make them fall above my belly button. Everyone wants that secret weapon, one piece of clothing that they can throw on and instantly have completed your look, not us short girls. Now even if you haven’t hit 5’2” don’t worry you can wear one too, we found the secret stash of jumpsuits, overalls and rompers that will fit to your proportions!
The key to the jumpsuit is to find one that will not drown you in fabric. The more skin you show the less of a chance you will be enveloped by copious amounts of material. Stick to a more fitted silhouette, one that accentuates your curves, this will help to elongate your figure. *The Reformation piece is an eco friendly green jumpsuit, so you can feel good, look good and play a part in saving the environment!

A pair of itsy bitsy overall shorts or cropped long overalls will help lengthen your legs. The key is to pair your overalls with a tank or cropped shirt, this will show of more skin, keep you cool, and highlight your proportions in turn giving the illusion of more length.

Delicate rompers with spaghetti straps expose more of your upper body also helping to elongate. Rompers that have waist detailing will feature your waist therefore framing your proportions. A less busy and simpler print will still be fun and is guaranteed to not overwhelm a petite figure.
