While Patricia Arquette may have her pick of designers to wear to Sunday night's Oscars, the actress looked a little closer to home when it came to her gown. "My best friend since I was seven. Well, I was eight-years-old. She was seven-years-old, turned out to be an incredible designer," Arquette told InStyle at the Hollywood Domino Gala & Tournament on Thursday night. "She’s designing my dress which is like wearing love. And I want to move through this experience in my true authentic self."

And although the Oscars is as good an excuse as any to get glammed up, Arquette admitted that she'd rather be wearing something a bit more casual. "I have no fashion sense. I would love to wear overalls. I would like to climb an apple tree," she joked. While we too love a good pair of overalls, we'd have to beg to differ with Arquette on her fashion sense. The actress stunned at last night's event in a figure-hugging black sleeveless Raoul gown with embellishments along the neckline and waist. Suffice it to say, her Oscars day gown will be a hit!
