The time has come, ladies and gentlemen. After literal months of anticipation, the much-hyped Panorama music festival kicks off today, July 22, on Randall's Island in N.Y.C., to the joy of flower crown-wearing revelers everywhere. As if the impressive roster of performing acts wasn't enough (Arcade Fire, Kendrick Lamar, and LCD Soundsystem will all be taking the stage), there are tons of installations, interactive experiences, and food offerings to get excited about, too. Here's what to keep an eye out for as you shuffle between sets.

1. Sephora's luxe beauty activation.
Throughout the weekend, the high-end cosmetics chain will offer face masks, body art appliqués, and hair touch-ups at its on-site lounge, not to mention really comfortable-looking couches. Because what's a music festival without flash tats and a crown braid, amirite?

2. Over-the-top art installations.
The first thing you'll see when you step onto the grounds is a dome-shaped interactive tent called THE LAB (pictured below), which will feature digital artworks by N.Y.C.-based artists (one is a performance piece that mimics the process of making cotton candy, complete with olfactory cues) and a 360 virtual reality theater.

3. An epic sound system co-designed by James Murphy.
In case you get tired of hanging around the main stage area, home entertainment company McIntosh Laboratory teamed up with LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy to create DESPACIO, a custom-built 50,000-watt speaker stack that promises a sonic experience unlike anything you'll hear outdoors.

4. 45 amazing food vendors, handpicked by Eater.com.
New Yorkers don't mess around when it comes to food. Case in point: Some of the city's best-known restaurants, including cult-favorites Roberta's, Dough Doughnuts, and The Beatrice Inn, will be serving up their most in-demand dishes all weekend long (hello, off-menu animal style burger). Here are five we're really excited about. Come hungry.

5. Going walletless.
As the official payment partner of Panorama, American Express will offer cardholders and their plus-ones exclusive rewards (including a very clutch spend $10, get $10 back offer) via the #AmexAccess integration in the iOS Panorama app. All you need is your iPhone—but in the event your battery runs out, their on-site tent will also have charging stations and WiFi, free of charge.
