A tailored-to-perfection fit and up-to-there slit added oomph to the already devastatingly sexy style.

The queen of badass style Solange Knowles hit the Oscars in a modern crimson Christian Siriano creation (center). The wide-leg pant and turtleneck gown hybrid brought drama to the carpet—and as avant-garde as it was, Knowles's look manages to maintain a black tie-ready vibe. Fifty Shades of Grey star and Oscars newbie, Dakota Johnson turned heads when she arrived in a fiery Saint Laurent column with an ornate jeweled and knotted one shoulder strap (right).
