One of the things we most appreciate about Olivia Palermo’s fashion playbook is that she finds pieces that she loves and wears them multiple ways. In case you haven’t noticed, Palermo’s new wardrobe M.V.P. is an ultra-luxe camel Max Mara Atelier coat with front slit and fur panel (and cozy pockets that rule out the need for gloves). She was first spotted in the jacket during New York Fashion Week, wearing it atop a chunky turtleneck, slicked-back hair and gray jeans.

For her newest outing sporting the topper, the fashionista chose to throw it on over a simple shirt and ripped-knee skinnies. Red frames and Western-inspired fringe black booties rounded out the look, and she rocked flowing waves. When it comes to remixing our wardrobes, we know where to look for a style hit.
