As far as cocktails go, tequila has remained a popular spirit of choice for centuries (it even has its own theme song!). So it makes sense that its devoted fans would rally behind the beloved Mexican export today, on its much-ballyhooed national holiday. To help you celebrate, we asked Eddy Buckingham, Justin Timberlake's personal mixologist, for the singer's go-to summer drink (using his own brand of tequila, natch). This recipe, dubbed the "901 Club," is like a boozy take on the classic Arnold Palmer, with lemonade, iced tea, and agave syrup. "It's the perfect daytime, al fresco drink," Buckingham tells InStyle. 1 oz 901 Tequila ($30; melandrose.com)
2 oz iced tea
2 oz lemonade
1/4 oz agave syrup
1. Combine all ingredients.
2. Stir well.
3. Serve over ice in a tall glass.
4. Garnish with a mint sprig and lemon wedge.
