We may still be recovering from Halloween’s sugar overload, but Burberry has officially kick-started the holidays with its 2015 Festive campaign. The luxury English brand has tapped an army of A-list Brits to not only star in its cheerful images, but also lend their talent to a 3-minute film that pays tribute to the 15th anniversary of Billy Elliot and the iconic English film’s opening sequence.
So who’s on hand to shake it to “Cosmic Dancer” by T. Rex, the track that opens the movie? James Bay, Romeo Beckham, Naomi Campbell, James Corden, Michelle Dockery, George Ezra, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Toby Huntington-Whiteley, Elton John, and Julie Walters all come together for the celebratory acts. Dressed in unmistakable pieces from the house’s iconic, festive gifts collection (think geometric-patterned scarves and neatly-fitted trench coats), the cast of animated talents together stun in front of photographer Mario Testino’s lens and pose among glittery, moving confetti and next to sharply-costumed models dressed like the guards outside Buckingham Palace.
And while the fashion in the shots are enough to spark anyone’s attention, Burberry is also using the campaign to initiate positive change.
