But last year, the most-searched brand actually received more inquiries than the latest sneaker trends or cute summer dresses. According to the Lyst index reported by Business of Fashion, the brand that everyone couldn't stop researching was no other than—drum roll please—Gucci.
The obsession is real, from the shirts ($620; net-a-porter.com) to the sunglasses ($560; bloomingdales.com), and we're not surprised. Google also released reports stating that Gucci dominated its charts as well. And the brand's crazy growth on Instagram (8 million new followers in 2017, alone) is further proof that we all just can't get enough of Gucci's flashy designs.
I mean, celebs have been wearing those Gucci loafers ($680; nordstrom.com) non-stop for a couple of seasons now. And if we all were given a penny for every blogger we've seen wearing the GG-logo belt ($450; neimanmarcus.com), we'd all be rich.
