Miranda Lambert just got the sweetest proposal—but it isn’t from who might think.
On Saturday, the country star was wooed by a young suitor during Kenny Chesney’s Spread the Love tour stop in New Jersey. Lambert took to Instagram on Sunday to share the news with her followers.
“I said YES! But he has to wait 25 years. this sweet boy Sebastian is a little gentleman. #pinkring #proposal #mademyday #jersey #spreadthelovetour,” she captioned the ‘gram, featuring two shots with her admirer: on the left, Sebastian is down on one knee (swoon) while the star is clearly touched; on the right, Lambert has her arm around her favorite fan showing off some major pink bling.
The 32-year-old "Vice" singer, who is Chesney’s opening act on his tour, went into detail with the audience at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium on Saturday evening. “I forgot to tell you something really important though,” she started. “I got engaged today! There’s a little 6-year-old boy here named Sebastian. He asked me to marry him. I said yes, in 25 years. Look at this beautiful ring!” she said, pointing to her finger. “He got on one knee. He was such a gentleman. It may be my favorite proposal ever.”
As heartwarming as it was, Sebastian will have to get in line. Lambert has been dating fellow country star Anderson East, 28, even making their red carpet debut together earlier this spring at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
