Sorry, but using cannabis-infused beauty products won't get you high. CBD oil might not be psychotropic, but it makes for a great beauty ingredient because it's naturally hydrating.
The latest beauty brand to embrace CBD oil as a hero ingredient is Milk Makeup. The brand announced today on Instagram that it's launching a mascara infused with the oil.
Kush Mascara ($24; milkmakeup.com) is a volumizing and lengthening formula that's been two years in the making. When Milk Makeup made the decision to make its products 100-percent vegan, the company had to find alternative solutions to common makeup ingredients like beeswax. That's where CBD oil came in.
In Kush, the conditioning, antioxidant-rich ingredient fuses the mascara's fibers to lashes for added thickness. The formula's heart-shaped fibers attach to lashes in every direction for maximum width, volume, and curl.

The mascara's aptly-named fluffy, tree-shaped "Puff Puff" brush makes applying an even, clump-free coat foolproof. Its tapered head is perfect for getting every single hair—including those tiny lashes at the inner corners of your eyes.
As for Kush Mascara's launch date, you can get your hands on one of the silver tubes exactly when you would expect: The mascara will land on Milk Makeup's website and at Sephora on April 20th.
