Thursday night was date night for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. After carefully avoiding the red carpet at the New York City premiere of Woody Allen's new Amazon series, Crisis in Six Scenes, Cyrus rendezvoused with her rumored fiancé for a night out.
The on-again love birds were spotted walking hand-in-hand through the streets of Manhattan, and despite their wildly different fashion choices, they looked more in sync than ever. Cyrus, 23, opted out of a wardrobe change, and hit the town in the same long-sleeve jumpsuit emblazoned with vintage 1960s photos she wore to the premiere. The "Wrecking Ball" singer highlighted her trim silhouette with a gold rope at her waist, and accessorized the bold look with glittery orange nylons and a retro pair of platform sandals. Hemsworth, 26, looked decidedly more down-to-earth beside her in a pair of dark trousers, tan sneakers, and a plain white T-shirt.
Cyrus plays a a young hippie inspired by communism in Crisis in Six Scenes, which also stars Allen, Elaine May, and Rachel Brosnahan. "It's basically the story of people with very different backgrounds and ideas crossing paths and how someone can come in and make you question everything you're doing," writes Entertainment Weekly.
Crisis in Six Scenes debuts on Amazon on Sept. 30.
