Warmer weather is upon is, and while it may be hot enough to walk around sans tights, it is still March. If we head straight into our summery brights now, we’ll surely have wardrobe fatigue by the time July rolls around. Luckily, First Lady Michelle Obama is here to give us a lesson in dressing for the unseasonably warm temperature.

While FLOTUS did flaunt her bare legs while welcoming the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, on their first official visit, she found other ways to make her outfit seasonably appropriate. Obama chose a jade green printed Tanya Taylor dress and a light black coat with cropped bell sleeves, perfect for the end of March. She paired the look with her classic pointy black pumps and gorgeous curls. Grégoire-Trudeau, meanwhile, looked ready for spring, donning a bright red-and-pink floral dress by Canadian designer Lucian Matis.
