Could Sookie be making her way back to Stars Hollow? Melissa McCarthy—who played the character for seven seasons on Gilmore Girls—may have reunited with one of her former co-stars over the weekend, but that doesn't mean she's taking part in Netflix's four-part reboot of the hit TV series.

Yanic Truesdale, who played Michel on the show, shared a selfie on Instagram from his get together with the actress over the weekend, and he made it clear that the photo was no indication McCarthy would be making a comeback. "Scotch, great meal and catching up with my old friend @melissamccarthy, can't ask for more! Dont read anything into it guys," the actor captioned his 'gram.

The Ghosbusters star is one of the few Gilmore Girls vets not expected to make a return for the show. In addition to Truesdale, Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Matt Czuchry, and Keiko Agena are all set to appear. With no official premiere date set, we still have our fingers crossed that they can squeeze in a McCarthy cameo.
