Even though Oct. 3 has come and gone, we can still indulge in one of our favorite guilty pleasures: Mean Girls. Just in time for #TBT, the cast of the classic teen film got back together for Entertainment Weekly’s reunion issue to dish on everything from what roles they originally auditioned for to where they think their characters are now.
Dressed to the nines in short party dresses, (from right) Lindsay Lohan, Tina Fey, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried look stunning in the spread. "I was still 17 years old and I wanted to be the cool girl on set," Lohan, who originally had her eye on the role of Regina George, tells EW. Seyfried also auditioned for the same role, but McAdams ended up with the part. "I loved Regina—she seemed so deliciously wicked and borderline evil," the actress says.
But we have bad news for those of you who are hoping for a sequel. "It's too late now," says Fey, who wrote the film in addition to starring in it as Ms. Norwood. However, the legacy still lives on for the cast in the form of their fans, including some rather famous ones. "Mariah Carey and I have the same makeup artist," Lohan says. "Whenever I see her, she does always say, 'On Wednesdays, I wear pink.' She loves that movie." Read the full interview now on ew.com.
