New Girl star Max Greenfield never fails to make us smile and that’s exactly what he did Thursday afternoon in L.A., where the actor and his castmates were on hand to celebrate WE Day California. At the charitable event, which encourages students to follow the right path, the 35-year-old actor reflected on his past, revealing what advice he’d give his younger self: “Go to school. Listen to a teacher. I would tell myself to shut up,” he told InStyle.
But recess fodder wasn’t all he opened up about. For the father of two—he and wife Tess Sanchez welcomed a baby boy, Ozzie James, last August—parenthood is a walk in the park, thanks to his 6-year-old daughter, Lily, who has taken on supervision duties for little Ozzie. “I feel like she’s better with the kid than I am, which is kind of comforting, but also kind of sad. I’m kind of jealous,” he hilariously quipped, explaining how welcoming a brother has been a major milestone for his daughter (below).
“They have a really good thing going on and the kid seems way more into her than she is into me. I was looking forward to having another guy in the house, but he’s siding with the women and I feel alone again. So, it’s great.” So what could perhaps fix the funny star’s solo adventure? It sounds like it’s time to welcome a new boy.
