Matthew McConaughey has caught Olympic fever! During the swimming finals on Monday night, the actor cheered on Team U.S.A. and could not have looked happier to be in the stands.
The 46-year-old actor, whose wife Camila Alves grew up in Brazil, flew to Rio with Alves and their three kids, just in time to take in the action. The We Are Marshall star looked patriotic in an Old Navy Team U.S.A. tee and blue jeans, with his Olympic credentials around his neck. It looks like playing a coach in the 2006 film has rubbed off on him: The animated star cheered, whistled, and coached the U.S. team to a number of medals.

McConaughey also recorded a message for the competing athletes. “Go Team U.S.A. We’ll see you in the pool tonight at 10 o’clock,” he told the camera.
