Martha Plimpton already won the 2012 Primetime Emmy Award for Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role on CBS's The Good Wife, and when we congratulated her at the Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy party, she offered her funny take on the glammed-up weekend. “The reality of these things is that they are on a whole other level for women than men,” the actress told us. “In my opinion, it's a little unfair. I don't want to have my feet damaged by the end of this week." Though there's an upside, Plimpton said. "On the other hand, it's nice to have beautiful clothes. It feels great to be able to wear them, and I feel beautiful wearing them. But if you were to ask me to write about the phenomenon of women and fashion and awards show—it would be humorously critical.” We’d love to read that.
