The folks hosting the 2016 Grammys know how to throw a party. And while performances by Adele, The Weeknd, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga’s sure-to-be-powerful tribute to David Bowie are more than enough to look forward to, the ante has officially been upped. How so? Four-time Grammy winner Lionel Richie will receive this year’s MusiCares honor, which recognizes one A-lister annually for their charitable work.
Yes, the accolade—and a potential, always-fashionable Nicole Richie sighting—is a major one. However, we’re pumped because John Legend, Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, and Meghan Trainor are set to take the Grammy stage and honor the legendary crooner, People reports. Two nights before the big show, Richie will also be the center of attention at MusiCare’s Person of the Year tribute concert, where chart-toppers like Usher, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, and Stevie Wonder will also sing for Richie at the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted showdown.
Prepare to tune in and tap your toes—the 2016 Grammy Awards air live on Mon., Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
