Best wishes to the birthday girl: Lindsay Lohan turns 28 today!
We've watched the actress grow up in the limelight—from playing twins in 1998's Parent Trap remake and Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's Liz & Dick in 2012, she's portrayed a wide range of compelling characters. And we'll never forget how she took down Regina George in the now-classic teen comedy Mean Girls, which marked its 10th anniversary this year. (It looks like we're not the only ones celebrating Lohan's big day: Netflix just added both The Parent Trap and Mean Girls to its lineup yesterday.)
But outside of her time on the silver screen, Lohan has also provided endless inspiration to hair color chameleons: Aside from her natural auburn, she's pulled off shades of brown, blond, and black. Lohan told InStyle in 2004 that her beauty icon is Brigitte Bardot because "she's always so beautiful, sexy, and cool in every way." We can see the resemblance! As always, we'll be watching for the next hairstyle that Lohan chooses to debut.
So before you start your streaming marathon, see how Lindsay Lohan has transformed through the years, from 1998 to now.
