In a "blink or you'll miss it" moment at Sunday night's Billboard Music Awards, Liam Hemsworth joined his fiancée Miley Cyrus backstage following her performance of "Malibu," a single inspired by her relationship with the actor.
Though Cyrus skipped the red carpet, the award show was a big night for her, as she performed "Malibu" live on TV for the first time. Little sister Noah and dad Billy Ray introduced the songstress to the T-Mobile Arena stage as mom Tish, and big sister Brandi cheered on from the audience.
And while Hemsworth wasn't seen during the broadcast, he was, of course, there for his girl.
The duo was caught on camera post-performance, looking loved up backstage—though we're not sure what exactly happened to Hemsworth's flannel shirt, as it looked slightly damp. It might have been the 90-degree Vegas heat, but we're thinking that it's likely the tears that obviously spilled from his eyes as Cyrus got choked up during the final lines of "Malibu."
Cyrus and Hemsworth's love seems stronger than ever. Hopefully, this means we'll be hearing wedding bells soon!
