Lauren Hutton turns 72 today! The supermodel turned actress is celebrating her birthday and we're honoring her classic contribution to style history.
The icon first got her start with fame by becoming a Playboy Bunny at the ripe age of 20 and began working at New York City's Playboy Club following her graduation from Tulane University in 1964.
Hutton, who was born in Charleston, S.C., and raised in southern Florida, soon made a name for herself in the modeling world and became the first model to sign a million-dollar beauty contract, with Revlon cosmetics. She was also well-known for her trademark smile (her tooth gap made her unforgettable), wispy blond hair and of course, her simple T-shirt style.
Hutton also started acting and landed roles in films including, Paper Lion, American Gigolo, Once Bitten and even appeared in the 1977 TV miniseries, The Rhinemann Exchange.
