If Alice had a beach picnic in Wonderland, she’d for sure take along the entire Poppytalk for Target collection.
The retailer partnered with Jan Halvarson, co-founder of the blog Poppytalk (along with her husband Earl Einarson), for the second in their series of Pinterest collaborations. The results? Beautiful, whimsical and begging for a party.
“Florals mixed with the lure of the great outdoors was the inspiration behind this collection,” Halvarson explains. “You can use it for a glamorous backyard party or a casual picnic at the beach.”
We’ve been a fan of Poppytalk since 2010, when we featured the blog in our November issue for our “Best of the Web” roundup. Founded in 2005, the blog is a treasure trove of gorgeous interiors, curated city guides, elegantly styled dishes and colorful DIYs to lust after. Since then, Poppytalk has grown to reach an astounding 8.2 million Pinterest followers.
Pretty, bright and filled with cheerful vintage-style touches, the goods from latest in Target’s Pinterest series of collaborations are sure to inspire spontaneous seaside glamping parties. Almost everything in the line is $25 or under including fold-able camping stools with polka-dot seats, place-mats made of romantic swirls, collapsible floral cake stands and even a cheerful little camping stove.
The Poppytalk for Target line is available starting today in stores and online. On deck and more to look forward to: Target’s next Pinterest collaboration will feature Kate Arends of Wit & Delight this September.
