Last night, Larry King recruited Hollywood's star power for his telethon benefiting the people of the U.S. Gulf Coast suffering from the oil disaster. Nicole Richie, Ivanka Trump, Alyssa Milano, Chelsea Handler and Jenny McCarthy were just a few of the stars on hand to take callers monetary pledges, while Cameron Diaz, Justin Bieber and Robert Redford encouraged donations. "Seeing what is going on there makes me sad and mad and sick at heart. Do something to help the Gulf right now," said Diaz. "Not tomorrow, not next week, but right now." The two-hour special, during which Ryan Seacrest hosted a "Social Suite" for Facebook and Twitter donations, raised over 1.3 million dollars for three different support charities: United Way, National Wildlife Federation and The Nature Conservancy.
