Lady Gaga took her monochromatic style from day to night as she hit the streets of New York City this week. On the heels of confirmation that she will star in A Star Is Born, the 'Bad Romance' crooner went rocker chic in the Big Apple Tuesday, sporting a black short-sleeved top and faded, high-waist black jeans held in place with a black-and-silver belt.

The American Horror Story: Hotel star completed her look with boots that had a black bandanna tied around one shoe, and added a retro touch, with cat-eye shades and small hoop earrings. While she kept her blonde locks down and flowing for her day out, Gaga pulled her hair back in a bun and switched up her ensemble as she headed out for a day on the town.

Mother Monster wore another black monochromatic ensemble but went bedroom chic this go round, rocking a black lace pajama set with white trim paired with black-and-white loafers and a cross necklace. She also switched up her lipstick hue, going from a pouty pink lip earlier in the day to a bright red during the evening.

With a flash of a peace sign, Gaga continued to enjoy her night out. The songstress certainly had a lot to celebrate considering she not only landed a major film role, but announced that her new single "Perfect Illusion" would drop in September.
