Kim Kardashian West took a page straight out of the fashion history books yesterday. The reality star and husband Kanye West attended the premiere of Sofia Coppola's production of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata (with costumes designed by of Valentino) at the Rome Opera House on Sunday and she looked like an ancient Roman empress with a modern twist.

For the event, Kardashian West, 35, donned a white one-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown with a soaring slit and an elegantly draped bodice resembling a high-fashion toga. Gold platform heels with leafy straps and a low, slicked back ponytail completed her regal look. At her side, West looked dapper in an all-black suit and a pair of brown suede boots.
