Today, we're toasting author Harper Lee, who rings in her 89th birthday. The seasoned writer, who has led a much more reclusive life following the success of her novel To Kill a Mockingbird, became a trending topic once again after the announcement of her second book, Go Set a Watchman, the highly anticipated follow-up to Mockingbird. We can't wait for it to hit bookstores in July---it'll for sure be an InStyle book club pick this summer!

Lee has been keeping busy on top of releasing a soon-to-be bestseller, recently launching her own non-profit company to continue producing an on-stage adaptation of her first novel in her hometown of Monroeville after a dispute was set to end the show.
