Project Accessory judge and amfAR Chairman Kenneth Cole gave the classic red AIDS ribbon a makeover. The designer created the reinterpretation, shown, to commemorate the discovery of the virus 30 years ago. The double-loop symbolizes a new generation of people coming together to show support, and is just one of the efforts behind the cause's new “Coming Together” campaign. The ribbons are available starting today on kennethcole.com for $5 each, and 100% of the net profits will be donated to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.
