There's been a great deal of confusion surrounding Kendall and Kylie Jenner's newest design venture, and we're here to clear some of that up. As of last week, the only info we had was inferred from a less-than-descriptive Save the Date e-mail, which included a February 8th date, an 8 p.m. start time, an N.Y.C. location, and the cause for celebration—the launch of "Kendall + Kylie." And, naturally, questions ensued, like: Is this a save-the-date to a fashion show? Is this a part of New York Fashion Week (which officially starts February 11th)? Is PacSun a part of this? Keep reading to find out everything we know about the Jenners's new fashion line.
"Kendall + Kylie" Doesn't Have Anything to Do with Previous Collaborations
The Jenner sisters are no novices in the fashion industry at this point—they've done capsule collections with PacSun (for a couple of years) and one Topshop collection that launched in 2015. But now, Kendall and Kylie are striking out on their own with their eponymous label that has been described as a "contemporary lifestyle brand," which will feature ready-to-wear and footwear for spring 2016.
It's Not Part of the New York Fashion Week Line-Up
The Kendall + Kylie event falls just days leading up to the start of New York Fashion Week, but make no mistake, this is not part of the NYFW line-up—which makes sense since the event revolves around the spring collection for Kendall + Kylie, while designers will be presenting their fall/winter 2016 shows collections.
Nor Is It a Show or Presentation
The Kendall + Kylie event is not a fashion show or presentation. Rather, Kendall and Kylie are hosting a private event to celebrate the debut of their brand. Sorry, it's not open to the public.

The Collection Will Reflect Both of Their Styles
The Kendall + Kylie spring 2016 lookbook is still being kept under wraps, but from what we know about their personal styles (aka obsessively documenting every street-style outing) and from behind-the-scenes sneak peeks (below) from their joint Instagram handle @kendallandkylie, the collection will marry both of their aesthetics—modern, glam, with a street-chic edge.
