Earlier this month, Kanye West was the reason crowds flooded the streets of New York City’s SoHo neighborhood as fashion and music fans alike awaited a chance to get their hands on the rapper’s Life of Pablo pop-up merchandise. According to the star, the pieces (colorful branded hoodies, T-shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories) were so in demand, he racked up $1 million in sales in just two days.

And while we couldn’t get our hands on the items—we tried and ultimately failed, thanks to too-long lines—one member of the 21-time Grammy Award-winning artist's inner circle definitely got lucky: Kendall Jenner. On Wednesday morning, West's sister-in-law hit the streets of New York in a look that showcases her affinity for mixing tight-fitting staples with layered, oversize favorites. The 20-year-old model slipped into a pair of black leather pants—she regularly turns to leather for daytime comfort—and matched a pair of black leather booties with a navy blue hoodie, furry handbag, and vintage-like sunglasses.

It’s her denim jacket, however, that we’re obsessed with. Adorned with bold red “Pablo” signage on the back, the light wash, Mr. West-approved item (it’s up for grabs on eBay for a marked-up $900) not only pays homage to his chart-topping hits, but also is a serious nod to ‘90s style.
