Not long after Katy Perry revealed that she would be launching a new shoe collection next spring, she gave us a glimpse at what's in store.
As she stepped out in Las Vegas Monday to promote the collection on the FN Platform show floor, the "Rise" songstress rocked a pair of bright yellow ankle-strap stilettos from the line, which featured a heel that looked like a rolled up cigar. Perry paired the look with a red, structured duster blazer, a body-hugging white tank top, and a matching red, high-waist skirt.
To complete the ensemble, the singer wore a choker with matching red-and-gold diamond-shaped earrings, and kept her locks pulled up in a sleek, high ponytail. Perry revealed earlier that day that she was teaming up with Global Brands Group to release the line, saying in a statement, "It's been a creative goal of mine to be a real contributor in the affordable fashion space."
She continued, "Launching a footwear collection felt like a natural first step for me. After years of investigating and researching partnerships to find the right fit for the debut of my line, I found that Global Brands most resonated with my artistic ideas. They understand my vision, my eye for detail, and have the international reach and resources to bring my canvas of ideas to life."
The kitschy collection, which ranges in price from $59 to $299, will include a variety of sneakers, sandals and heels—there are even bunny-face topped flats and star-print caged heels. All of the styles in the line are named after her friends, according to Footwear News.
We can't wait to see what else she has in store.
