The one item that's going to get Holmes through the winter days to come? "In this weather, a warm coat," she tells InStyle. And, the actress revealed just what outfit she'd be wearing if she wasn't busy hitting up fashion week events: "I would be wearing on of those hats that has so much fake fur that you can’t really even see," Holmes says. "And a full length coat with knee high boots. A big huge puffer, like an Eskimo."
The soiree celebrated JCPenney's exclusive retail collaboration with Disney's upcoming film Cinderella, a live-action feature film inspired by the classic story. At the event, nine students from the Fashion School at Kent State University live sketched their design interpretation of a modern day fairy tale look, using Cinderella’s actual dress from the film as inspirtation.
"I’m going to a couple of shows in the next few days, which I’m excited about. This event is a great way to kick off fashion week, supporting these young, fresh designers," Holmes shares. "I love that JCPenney is supporting these young designers, and I’m happy to be a part of it. It’s always inspiring to see a new group of people with a new set of ideas getting started. It’s really exciting."
