The Kennedys: After Camelot will center on what life for Jackie Kennedy was like after the assassination of her husband President John F. Kennedy, but juicy details and exciting plot lines aren’t the only reason we’ll be sure to tune into Reelz’s new TV miniseries.
Earlier last month, the star of the new show, Katie Holmes, proved that she has exactly what it takes to play the former First Lady in an array of looks that bear a striking resemblance to the style icon. And that’s exactly what Holmes did again on Monday in Toronto, Canada, where she was photographed in three new ensembles that hit the nail on the head.
In addition to rocking the beauty’s classic brunette ‘do with pizzazz, the actress was photographed sitting on a plush couch dressed in a sleeveless white dress with a teal shawl over her shoulders that captured Kennedy’s all-American fashion M.O. Another scene required the former Dawson’s Creek star to wear what appears to be an all-white two-piece ensemble with oversize buttons, a white belt, and simple black loafers as she stood next to actor Alexander Siddig, who portrays Aristotle Onassis, Kennedy’s second husband.
Think the costumes end there? Think again. One final look finds Holmes dressed in another ivory, off-white coatdress that features a geometric belt design and is styled with a vintage white and brown version of the Gucci hobo bag the First Lady regularly rocked.
We can’t wait to see more of Holmes’s gorgeous outfits.
