Nailed it! One look at Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy will show you the striking resemblance she bears to the former First Lady, particularly in a wedding scene from the upcoming TV miniseries The Kennedys: After Camelot.
Just as she did in the 2011 TV miniseries The Kennedys, Holmes plays Jackie O., with the actress appearing in a gorgeous off-white turtleneck wedding dress with lace sleeves and embellishments as she gets ready to say "I do" to her second husband, Greek shipping mogul Aristotle Onassis (played by Alexander Siddig).
In a photo taken on set during the wedding scene, Holmes and Siddig can be seen in character, flashing smiles, with Holmes wearing her hair in Jackie O.'s signature bob, with part of it pulled back and held in place with an ivory flower clip. Meanwhile, Siddig sports a black suit and a red tie.
The photo—and their appearances in the shot—are very similar to that of the actual Kennedy-Onassis duo on their big day. In a snap from their wedding, Kennedy and Onassis are all smiles as they do a quick interview, with Onassis wearing a nearly identical dress to Holmes's wedding look reboot.
The miniseries, which is scheduled to air on Reelz in 2017, centers on Kennedy's life after the assassination of her husband President John F. Kennedy.
