Kate Spade New York has announced the launch of its first-ever sleepwear collection, and it's the stuff of dreams. Slated to hit stores and katespade.com next month, the 15-piece line-up comprises darling pajama sets, flirty chemises, sleep shirts, plushy robes, and printed tops that are completely in line with the brand's preppy-happy aesthetic—so much so, that we're surprised that Kate Spade New York sleepwear doesn't already exist.

We're completely smitten with the sleep shirt stamped with one of the brand's famous quirky-cute idioms "Eat Cake for Breakfast," the pretty polka dot-print lace one-piece that's both flirty and sexy, and the classic pajama sets littered in bow ties or playfully scrawled with the words "Shh!" or "Goodnight!" on the pocket (we love the rose-strewn mixed print one, too).

Basically, the Kate Spade New York sleepwear collection (priced between $58 and $98) will finally give us an excuse to sleep in. Mark your calendars for April and, in the meantime, take a look at a selection of the goods, below.
