Kate Middleton might have caused a stir on the internet yesterday with news that she has joined Twitter, but it was business as usual for the duchess today as she made her first public appearance of 2015 to open a school art room in London. And her baby bump has seriously blossomed since we saw her last.
The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at Barlby Primary School in a navy shift dress featuring pink, cream, and navy tweed hems and matching pockets. Now five months pregnant, Middleton's petite bump was clearly visible for the first time, dressed in Madderson London.
The label sells both women's and maternity wear, though Middleton's "Naomi" dress is from their main line. The website appears to have already crashed, suggesting the famous "Kate Effect" has already taken sway, with royal fashion fans snapping up her $686 (£450) wool dress.
Ms. Middleton styled the shift with black tights, matching wedges, a simple box clutch, and her signature bouncy blowout and looked just as chic as we've come to expect.
On the agenda for the duchess's visit is a tour of the school's new art studio with artist Grayson Perry. The pair are both patrons of the charity Art Room which helped fund the new studio space.
We wonder if the trip will be the subject of Kate's first tweet?
