Stop the presses: the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing flats.
Kate Middleton stepped out in an unusually breezy ensemble during Day 3 of her visit to India, and she looked utterly gorgeous in a printed red maxi dress. But what caught our eye was her atypical choice of footwear. For the outing, the royal ditched her go-to wedges and pumps in favor of a pair of chic criss-cross nude ballet flats, and they're unlike any shoe we've ever seen her wear before.
The kicks were the perfect choice for the day, as she and her husband Prince William walked through the city streets and visited a center for homeless children in New Delhi run by the charity Salaam Baalak.

This morning The Duke and Duchess visited the Salaam Baalak Trust in New Delhi, an NGO that works to rescue and support young children arriving in the city alone and living on the streets. Their Royal Highnesses visited the Trust's Contact Centre near the railway station, and one of the temporary shelters for boys nearby where they met some of children that live there #RoyalVisitIndia
