Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived in New York City on Sunday night for their highly anticipated trip, and it should come as no surprise that the ever-stylish Duchess stunned us sartorially from the very start. Middleton made her N.Y.C. debut in a chic eggplant-colored "Marina" maternity coat by Seraphine paired with black tights, Stuart Weitzman booties, gloves, and a clutch.
Duchess Kate's après-flight ensemble was only to be outdone by her second outfit of the trip, an elegant lace little black dress with sheer three-quarter length sleeves by Beulah London ($1,012, beulahlondon.com) that she wore to a dinner hosted by the American Friends of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The dinner was held at the home of Sir Martin Sorrell, a British advertising mogul who lives in New York City's Gramercy Park neighborhood.
And the couple has another jam-packed day ahead of them. While Prince William will head to Washington, D.C., this morning to meet with President Obama, Middleton will visit a child development center in Harlem before the two reunite for a Brooklyn Nets basketball game at the Barclays Center. Stay tuned for all the sure-to-be perfection that is to come!
