It's been quite a busy few days for the British royal family. Between the celebrations for Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday to yesterday's Garter Day Service, we've seen a lot of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and their hectic schedule continued today with not one but two appearances.
Prince William and Kate Middleton began the day at the U.S. Embassy, where they paid tribute to the victims of the Orlando shooting. After the somber visit, they jetted off to Ireland to attend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland's annual Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle.
For the occasion, Princess Kate looked as beautiful as ever in a cream brocade Day Birger et Mikkelsen coat dress, which she accessorized with a gold clover brooch, a wedding gift from the Irish Guards, and a matching box clutch. She topped off her look with a coordinating rose-shaped fascinator, styling her long brown hair into an intricate, low chignon.
In addition to chatting with guests, Kate also took part in kicking off the party by planting a tree. Only Kate could look that good digging in the dirt. See more photos from their lovely afternoon below.
