Royal blue is definitely Kate Middleton's color. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Fostering Excellence Awards at BMA House in London tonight, where she showed off her sense of style in a polished fit-and-flare dress, black belt, and coordinating suede pumps.
The Fostering Excellence Awards recognize and celebrate outstanding achievement in foster care in the UK, and Princess Kate was on hand to present the Fostering Achievement Award, which celebrates extraordinary achievements in the last 12 months of young people aged 16 to 24 who have been fostered.
"It is fantastic that we are all gathered this evening to celebrate fostering and the truly transformational care that is a lifeline to so many," she wrote in the event program. "The people we will hear about tonight are truly extraordinary and show how good foster care changes children and young people's lives."
