Kate Middleton doesn’t have any Olympic medals under her belt, but we’d give her an honorary gold for her expert style skills. The Duchess of Cambridge was out with her husband, Prince William, as well as Prince Harry and their grandmother, the Queen, to welcome Britain’s Olympics and Paralympics teams to Buckingham Palace on Tuesday night, and she held herself like a seasoned pro.
The duchess looked stunning in a floral Alexander McQueen midi dress with long sleeves, pairing the gown with her classic blowout and red pumps. A sleeveless version of the McQueen stunner is still available, featuring the same royal-approved print ($3,075; saksfifthavenue.com).
To shop the trend and rock a long-sleeve gown like Middleton, this rose-print Topshop Unique dress will do the trick ($380; net-a-porter.com). Paired with matching pink pumps and loose curls, it’s perfect for a romantic night.

The royals met with their Olympic and Paralympic champions at the #GBHeroes event, which celebrated the success of British athletes in Rio. The duke and duchess chatted with the women’s hockey team, who took home gold, and the Queen even shared a laugh with a hockey player on crutches. “Did you do that now?” she joked.
This royal family continues to charm us.
